Access requirements:
-Graduate in dentistry.

– Qualification homologated in Spain.
-Selection system: Curriculum Vitae.

Students must belong to the Official College of Dentists and Stomatologists throughout the duration of the master. Students who are not registered and without civil liability insurance, must take out insurance to treat patients as part of the postgraduate course. The cost of this insurance is approximately 150 euros.

Language: The language of the program will be English.

Duration and structure

Course will start on January 2020 and will consist in 8 modules of two full days –always in Thursday and Friday-, with eighteen months duration, with a total of 60 ECTS.

Each module will consist of one and a half day of theory, where focus will be on practical and case-based lectures, and half day of clinic where the students will start new cases from the begining and have the opportunity to treat other patients in different stages of treatment from past editions.

At the end of classes the student has to prepare and expose the final master work to the local committee.

Schedule: Thursday and Friday (09:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 20:00 hours).

Venue

The Course will take place in the Department of Orthodontics of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (University of Valencia.  C/. Gascó Oliag, nº 1 (46010) Valencia.). The facilities are new, very spacious and with a great luminosity.

There are hotels near the Faculty which offer convenient at different prices.

Valencia Airport has lot of international connections (including RyanAir).

ELLOUZE, SKANDER
Dr Ellouze has received his Degree in Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Monastir (TUNISIA) and completed his Post-Graduate Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Bordeaux (C.E.C.S.M.O – France) and has been Post-Graduated in Lingual Orthodontics at the University of Paris V. He is recognized as a leader in the field of Lingual orthodontics, passive self-ligation, and skeletal anchorage systems (TADs). He lectures frequently internationally. He is an associate Professor  in the department of orthodontics at the University of Bordeaux 2, and contributes in the teaching program of several universities. Also has written several articles, and recently published a book titled: Mini-Implants: Orthodontics for the future

STRADI, ROBERTO
Graduated in Dentistry at University of Naples “Federico II” in 1994. Post graduated in Orthodontics at the University of Naples “Federico II” in 2001. Since 1995 Exclusive Orthodontic Private Practice in Caserta, Italy, where in 2010 started offering “Incognito” In Office private Courses for 3M. In 2001 became Clinic instructor of lingual orthodontics, from 2004 to 13 “Professore a contratto of lingual orthodontics”, in charge of managing clinical cases and seminar activity. Objetives


To acquire a broad and solid theoretical and practical background on lingual orthodontics with the Incognito™ system, combined with a complete clinical experience, in order to provide security and confidence to the orthodontist to start treating safely patients with the lingual technique.

The specific objectives are that professionals who study this master should be able to treat any type of skeletal or bone malocclusion with this type of lingual tools independent of the severity of the case. In addition, they should be able to use orthodontic aids combined with lingual orthodontics in the same way as conventional orthodontics through vestibular orthodontics.

At the same time, they have to be able to present and discuss clinical cases during the development of the Master with the appropriate diagnostic records with the rest of the professionals, providing different treatment options.

Finally, they have to be able to develop an End-of-Master Project (TFM) of research on a topic related to the treatment of orthodontics with lingual appliances that will be supervised by one of the teachers of the Master.
